Pzaz Release Notes

Get ready for our latest product update

Greetings from Pzaz! The start of Spring is just around the corner, and to mark the occasion we’ve release a fresh new update to Pzaz. This includes several new features, improvements, and bug fixes.

What’s New?

  • We’ve added a new side menu for faster navigation within each feature. This will let you quickly switch between boards, scripts, shooting schedules, and more!
  • We’ve streamlined elements, equipment, crew & cast, and locations into one tab for better organization.
  • We’re adding board templates for easy setup – you will now be able to choose from pre-made templates when creating a board, and we’ll be adding more soon based on your needs.
  • Adding a ‘main script’ feature (preparing for full script breakdown) – from this release forward, you will be able to designate any of your scripts as a ‘main script’. This is preparing in future for a new feature where you’ll be able to create a full ‘break down’ of all components from this main script – watch this space.
  • As always, this release also includes a number of bug fixes and user experience improvements.

Improvements

  • Inbox/workflows revamp – we’ve made several internal code improvements, renamed “Unassigned” to Outbox, and updated the overall design.
  • Refined side menu order – tabs are now grouped logically by function.
  • Budget page enhancements – side menu now includes above and below the line buttons, plus new PDF & XLSX export options.
  • Simplified navigation – the private/team switch has been removed—users should use the side menu instead.

Bug Fixes

As always, this also includes a number of bug fixes in response to direct feedback from our customers.

Stay tuned for more updates and fixes! With every new release, we are improving Pzaz, and everyone’s feedback is important!
