Workflow boards offer multiple views—board, lane, list, and shared cards—to suit different workflows and project needs. You can switch between these views quickly, enabling you to choose the best layout for your production process. Users can also select their preferred view, working independently without affecting others.
Flexible Workflow Management in Pzaz
The board view is the default layout, arranging the board into vertical columns representing workflow steps. Cards are moved between columns as they progress, with names like Pre-Production and Review. They can also simply be used to ToDo, Doing and Done.
Switching between board views is straightforward. Click the board views icon in the toolbar and select your preferred view. Pzaz will refresh and display your cards accordingly. With these flexible board views, we empower your team to work the way they work best, whether coordinating pre-production tasks, managing a shoot, or collaborating on post-production workflows.
The lane view builds on the Kanban layout by adding horizontal rows for team members. This makes it easy to see who owns which cards and their workflow status, making this view ideal for managing team roles and responsibilities.
The List view organises cards vertically under customisable headings. For example, a marketing board might use headings like “SEO” and “Social Media,” while a production board could include “Scene Breakdown” or “Shot List.” Switching views doesn’t affect card positions.
The Shared view displays cards shared from other boards in a board-style (also called Kanban) layout, allowing cross-departmental collaboration. Shared cards can be moved into your Filmspace workflow, ensuring smooth resource integration.
Pzaz remembers the last view you used for each board. For instance, you can keep one board in the board view for managing current production tasks and another in the list view to prioritise backlog items.
